Daily Care
Do
- Clean aligners at least once daily with lukewarm water and mild, clear liquid soap
- Store aligners in their case whenever they’re out of your mouth
- Handle aligners with clean hands
- Brush and floss before reinserting your aligners after eating
Avoid
- Toothpaste on your aligners, which can be abrasive
- Leaving aligners loose in pockets, purses, or on napkins
- Hot liquids while wearing aligners, since heat can warp the plastic
- Eating or drinking anything but water with aligners in
